SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT & FARMER’S AWARENESS

The farmers of singapore block under Rayagada District mainly depend upon farming .Due to insufficient knowledge, the farmers use chemical of synthetic in their fields. Keeping this urgency in mind, LIST organized a workshop on agro development, and demonstrative farming. About 150 selected farmers from different Gps of Rayagada attended the workshop to know more about agro development and new techniques of farming. Invited agricultural experts motivated the farmers to stop continuous use of chemical manures in the fields instead of organic manures. List has organized various camps for promotion of advanced agriculture at Gunupur Block of Rayagada District in order to sensitize the farmers on Agriculture and Profitability.
